HLA Typing

NanoTYPE 24/11 - High Resolution HLA Genotyping
The Reliable Solution for Determining Transplantation Compliance

  1. Product Description

NanoTYPE 24/11 is a CE approved in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) kit for high-resolution genotyping of HLA genes. It is used to assess recipient-donor compatibility in organ and stem cell transplants.

  1. Targeted Genes

Kit, in a single study Class I (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C) and Class II (HLA-DRB1, HLA-DRB3/4/5, HLA-DQA1, HLA-DQB1, HLA-DPA1, HLA-DPB1) totaling 11 HLA gene at the same time.

  1. Method Principle

These kits amplify 11 different HLA loci simultaneously in a single tube using a single long-read multiplex PCR method.

After PCR, barcoding, pooling, adapter addition and library size selection, if necessary, are performed according to the number of samples.

The prepared library is then loaded into Oxford Nanopore Technologies sequencing devices. During sequencing, DNA fragments generate unique signals in the electric field as they pass through the nanopores. These signals are converted into DNA sequences in FASTQ format by base caller software.

Finally, the sequences are analyzed with NanoTYPER™ software to obtain HLA genotyping results.
