The RapidHIT\u00ae System developed by IntegenX is the first fully automated sample-to-result STR-based human identification system. This system uses GlobalFiler\u00ae Express cartridges. With this closed system, standard DNA profiles can be obtained from human samples in an average of 90 minutes. The RapidHIT\u00ae System uses DNA extraction, PCR and capillary electrophoresis. The system can perform 1-5 DNA typing at the same time, requiring only 3 minutes of staff time to perform these procedures.
